Each has her own sense of style - but Queen Letizia of Spain, Queen Maxima and Crown Princess Amalia of The Netherlands all appeared equally elegant in blue today as they attended a lavish state banquet in Amsterdam.
Letizia, 51, and her husband King Felipe of Spain, 56, are enjoying a two-day visit to the Dutch capital and The Hague.
After a fun-filled day packed with activities, including trying out basketball and football, as well as attending a welcome ceremony, the Spanish royal couple joined King Willem-Alexander, 56, and Queen Maxima for a glitzy dinner at the Royal Palace.
They were joined at the luxurious occasion by Princess Amalia, 20, who is heir to the Dutch throne, and Princesses Beatrix and Margriet, 81, the mother and aunt of the reigning monarch of The Netherlands, respectively.
It appeared shades of blue were the theme of the night - after Letizia, Maxima, 52, Amalia and Beatrix, 86, colour co-ordinated in elegant gowns and glittering tiaras.

Letizia looked resplendent in a sapphire dress, featuring a billowing skirt, statement bow detailing on the sleeves and a waist-cinching belt.
She opted for an impressive tiara, known as the ‘Russian loop tiara’ due to its unique design. It once belonged to Maria Cristina of Austria and consists of diamonds, pearls and platinum.
The stunning piece of jewellery marks a change as Letizia usually opts for the prestigious Fleur de Lis tiara for gala dinners.
Originally, the tiara was a gift from King Juan Carlos to Queen Sofia of Spain, and Letizia wore it for the first time in 2018.
Queen Maxima, meanwhile, looked radiant in an off-the-shoulder light blue gown for the state banquet.
Adding a touch of glitz to her glamorous outfit, she teamed the elegant dress with a dazzling diamond bow brooch and drop diamond earrings.
She finished off her look with a smattering of glamorous makeup and a statement tiara not seen in the last five years.
It is known as the ‘Stuart tiara’ or sometimes the ‘new coronation tiara’ and was commissioned in Frankfurt in 1898.

Its central diamond is considered to be one of the largest from the 17th century and is incredibly valuable - so much so that Princess Beatrix refused to wear it throughout her 33-year reign - and it hasn’t been worn by Maxima herself since 2018.
Looking just as picture perfect as her mother, Princess Amalia opted for a navy caped dress, teamed with a sparkling ruby necklace. She wore a matching tiara to complete her ensemble.
The event - which saw King Felipe and King Willem-Alexander also dressed in all their finery - marks Amalia's first ever state banquet in the Dutch capital.
In a speech, King Willem Alexander gave a touching thank you to King Felipe after allowing Amalia to stay in Madrid for a year after being threatened with kidnap.
According to Dutch paper Nos News, he said: 'This was made possible by the kind efforts of many of your countrymen and yourself.
'A touching show of friendship at a difficult time. I would like to sincerely thank you and all others who helped arrange this.'
He added that the couple have a 'special place in our hearts' for Spain, and it is where he met Maxima for the first time, 25 years ago.
Earlier today, Felipe and Willem-Alexander dared to show their sporty sides today as they joined a group of young boys on a basketball court in Amsterdam.
Despite being dressed in suits and ties with leather brogues, the two royals were eager to show off their skills and even took turns trying to score a basket.
The pair were visiting Amsterdam's Johan Cruyff Foundation, which helps children with special needs access sports, on the first day of the Spanish royals' visit to the Netherlands.
For King Felipe and King Willem-Alexander, the fun continued on the football pitch where the pair could be seen kicking a ball between them as the youngsters looked on.

On Wednesday, Letizia and Felipe are set to be officially welcomed by the Dutch King and Queen in Dam Square in Amsterdam, and the Marine Band of the Royal Netherlands Navy will play the national anthems of both countries.
